Greetings OV families! Week 1 is in the books and we're off to a great start. During week 1, we reconnected with former teammates and welcomed in new teammates. We discussed health and safety issues of entering the pool feet first in the shallow end and bringing a water bottle to practice. We practiced sportsmanship by making sure to fist bump or high-five our teammates and coaches after practice. And we played the "Name Game" to illustrate the importance of listening to maximize our ability to learn when coaches are coaching. We will continue to emphasize health and safety expectations and sportsmanship standards throughout the season.
