ABE League Info
The ABE League, which Orchard View is a member of, is an 11 member league split into two divisions; the ABE and Valley divisions. The league's mission statement is:
Mission Statement: We the Suburban Swim League are committed to promoting the sport of swimming and providing a safe and positive environment for all members. This is done by establishing and encouraging not only excellence in the fundamentals of swimming and diving, but also to the development of such character traits as dependability, perseverance, acceptance and inclusion as well as good sportsmanship. This will build champions in the pool and in life.
The league follows all PIAA rules and regulations and all officials must be PIAA certified.
The order of events during the league swim meet is as follows:
- Medley Relay
- Freestyle
- Individual Medley
- 10 & U Free Relay (Exhibition)
- Diving
- Butterfly
- Backstroke
- Breaststroke
- Crescendo Free Relay.
