Coach Dave recently retired from Guardian Life after 34 years. Born and raised in Allentown, he swam for Dieruff High School under Dennis McGinley and Bloomsburg University. Dave has twenty years of lifeguard, coaching and swim instruction experience and is currently also a coach at Parkland Swim Club (PSC). At PSC he coaches all levels of swimming.
Dave along with his wife Jessica and son Dom (14-year-old Otter) reside in Laury’s Station; their daughter Keri and husband Jake (Stonecrest’r) and granddaughter, Charlie, reside in Orefield. They enjoy travel, movie nights, outdoor get-togethers and anything water related.
My favorite thing about being an Otter is watching the swimmers grow their friendships, improve their swimming skills and cheer for each other on race day.
FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I coach my son on both his Orchard View and PSC team. And he doesn't listen to me at either team's practice.
Coach Brian teaches mathematics in the Northampton Area School District. He has served as head swim coach for Westwood Heights swim club, Kay Brook-Green Hills swim club, Parkland Aquatic Club, and an assistant coach at Parkland High School. Currently, he is an assistant coach with Parkland Swim Club. Coach Brian swam for Kay Brook-Green Hills, Emmaus Aquatic Club, Parkland High School, and the University of Illinois.
Brian and his wife Amy reside in Schnecksville and have three children: Pierce, a '25 graduate of Virginia Tech, resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia and works as a project engineer for Ulliman Schutte; Dougie, a rising sophomore at Susquehanna University, studies finance and economics and swims for the River Hawks (you'll see Coach Dougie on the OV pool deck as an assistant coach); and Everly, who just recently completed 3rd grade at St. Joseph the Worker School, swims for Orchard View.
My favorite thing about being an Otter is seeing all of the smiles and hearing all of the laughs of both Otter swimmers and divers and Otter families.
FUN FACT ABOUT ME:
Coach Sarah was a diver for Bucknell University from 2000-2004. She also is a school psychologist during the school year. Sarah has 3 daughters ages 10, 6, and 3 and one is a swimmer/diver for OV.
Sarah is a former diving coach for Parkland HS Diving and also coached diving at Orchard View for a few years before I had my oldest daughter and again during the summers of 2019 and 2020.
My favorite thing about being an Otter is the team spirit!!
FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I’ve done a little Masters Diving and I plan to get back into it.
Coach Tara is a Project Manager Consultant. She has a background as a competitive gymnast and began learning about swimming and diving when she married Thom, a lifetime Otter! She has 4 children; Hunter, Hayden, Harper and Reagan and has jumped into being a swim and dive mom. Coach also assists as a local HS Diving Coach and will be co-coaching this year's Otter Divers with Coach Sarah.
My favorite thing about being an Otter is the welcoming family atmosphere and instant friendships.
FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I am a very passionate person! I love my family, pushing others to do their best and celebrating the milestones along the way!
Coach Kenrick is Orchard View’s performance coach for the 11 and over groups. His kids have all grown up being Otters and loves being able to work with all the Otters. He is also the owner of K17SPORT Fitness; a coaching business that works with athletes of all ages in every sport. Competed collegiately at Widener University in Football, Track (indoor and outdoor) and Rugby. Kenrick has competed in Triathlons for many years at the highest level:

My favorite thing about being an Otter is that I love the fun atmosphere that the coaching staff brings to the team. I also love seeing our swimmers progress from the start to the finish of the season. Seeing the HUGE smile on the swimmers faces as they RING the Personal Best Bell after a great swim - PRICELESS!!

Coach Ava is a rising senior at Messiah University, where she swims collegiately for the Falcons. This is Coach Ava’s 9th season coaching for the Otters. She will be helping coach all three age groups this summer. When she isn’t coaching you can find her reading a book and spending time with her family.
My favorite thing about being an otter is seeing the new group of kids come in every summer and being able to teach them something that I love.
Fun fact about me: I am majoring in Elementary Education at Messiah University
Coach Hayden has just finished his Junior year at Northwestern Lehigh HS. Most recently, Hayden represented his high school at the PIAA State Championships in Diving. He has been swimming at Orchard View for 7 years and diving for 6 years.
When not coaching, you will find Hayden creating Rubik's Cube content for his YouTube channel, practicing or competing in Rubik's Cube competitions, biking, or hanging out with his family and friends.
My favorite thing about being an Otter is sharing in the excitement when your teammates learn a new dive or get a best time in an event!
Fun Fact About Me: My brothers and I own a lawn mowing company and I have placed 3rd in a Rubik's Cube competition in Alaska!
