Dear OV Otter Families,

As we close the books on another summer swim season, I just want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible journey this 2025 season has been. Despite a rollercoaster of weather reschedules, shifting plans, and all the unpredictable moments that come with summer swimming, our Otter families showed up with unwavering pride, flexibility, and heart, just like you always do.

From the first meet to our final relay at Champs, you’ve embodied what it means to be part of this team. Your energy on the deck, the cheers from the lawn, the snacks shared under tents, and the volunteers stepping up every time, THE LEGENDARY SNACK BAR (shout out to Chef Josh & Kylie).... we see it all. And it’s why this team continues to thrive year after year.

We wrapped up our 2025 season with a fantastic 5–2 regular season record ending with a 3rd place ABE league finish, and we brought the heat to Champs, earning an amazing 2nd place overall finish! What a way to end the season! 

🏅 Final Notes

📦 Ribbons from our Lehigh meet and Silver Champs will be placed in everyone’s Otter Box by Thursday of this week.

Please make sure to grab your swimmer’s belongings by then because the Otter Box will be stored away for the season.

🧩 We’re also looking ahead to next season! We’ll be forming a few committees to support different aspects of the team.

Kara Stahley and I will be sending out more information later this summer, so keep an eye out if you’d like to get involved.

On a personal note, it never ceases to amaze me how this group of families comes together each and every summer. Our season may be short, but what we pack into those weeks is nothing short of magic. You make this team more than just a swim team. You make it a community.

Thank you for the carpools, the snack bar shifts, the hours in the hot sun, the cheers, post-practice snack distribution, the last-minute volunteers, the laughs, and most of all, the love you pour into making this such a special experience for our athletes.

Our Otters are lucky to have you, and I’m lucky to be part of it.
