Otters,

First off, our sincerest apologies for yet another meet being canceled due to weather. We know just how much effort and dedication your athletes put into practice each day. It’s incredibly frustrating not to see that hard work pay off in the meets they look forward to.

We are working diligently behind the scenes to find a reschedule date and time that works for both teams. While we’re still actively coordinating, we’re also thinking outside the box to come up with creative solutions.

One option on the table is holding the meet this Thursday morning at Brookside Country Club. They are already hosting a rescheduled meet at that time against Stonecrest, so this would be the first dual "tri-meet" in ABE history. Warmups would be at 8:30 am, and the meet would start at 9:30 am. 

But before we move forward, we need your input.

Would this morning option work for your athlete?

If we pursue this plan, it will take a full Otter team effort — we’ll need help with carpooling and stepping up to assist parents who may not be able to attend during work hours.
