We’ve got a BIG week ahead, so please read through this update carefully. There’s a lot of fun, and we need your help to make it all happen!

🏠 HOME MEETS THIS WEEK:

Tuesday, July 2 – vs. Trident

Thursday, July 4 – vs. Stones Crossing

📍 Location: Orchard View

⏰ Arrival Time for ALL Swimmers & Divers: No later than 4:40 PM

These are two great opportunities to cheer on our team at home, and we need your help to make them successful!

👉 We still have open volunteer spots AND snack bar donation slots for both meets.

Please check the JOBS section in SwimTopia and fill in where you can. Every helping hand makes a difference!

🍭 MINI MEET REMINDER – SATURDAY, JULY 12

Our biggest meet of the season for our youngest swimmers is coming up fast! To make our Candyland-themed Mini Meet extra sweet, we need:

🍬 Decorations & Candy-Themed Items

Do you have Candyland-style decorations, balloons, blow-ups, or even candy canes we can borrow or donate? We’d love to use them!

🪑 Folding Sideline Benches

We’re looking to borrow folding sideline benches to help organize our swimmers in heat/lane order. If you have any we can use Saturday morning, let us know!

🎈 Decorating Help Needed

We’ll be decorating the pool Friday evening and again Saturday morning.

⏱️ Volunteer Spots Still Open – We NEED You!

We have a LOT of open volunteer spots, including timers, which are essential to running this meet.

Even if you don’t have a Mini Otter swimming, we’d love your help!

We’re also calling on our older swimmers. If you’re available, please consider helping out. It’s a great way to give back, and we’ll count it toward volunteer hours if you need them.

🎉 TEEN PARTY – AFTER DARK: THE GLOW EDITION! 🌟

To wrap up Mini Meet day, the swim team is hosting a Teen Party on the evening of Saturday, July 12 and the theme is Glow Up! Anyone entering 6th grade this upcoming school year straight through to our high school seniors are welcome to join in on the fun!

🍕 Please RSVP HERE so the pool knows how much pizza to order and we can plan for supplies. This is always a highlight of the season!

🩳 Give a Suit, Take a Suit 🩱

Have an Otter suit or practice suit that no longer fits your swimmer or diver? Drop it in our “Give a Suit, Take a Suit” bucket at practice or meets!

Just like the name says... if you need a suit and there’s one in there, it’s yours to take. Let’s help each other out and keep our Otters swimming strong.
