Final Dual Meet Declarations
Good morning Otters!
As we have transitioned from Team App and Google Docs to SwimTopia, I’d like to thank everyone for making this a smoother transition than I expected. Big cheers to Jessie Yeager for being so helpful and our main resource in this process. I am enjoying the instant time updates that SwimTopia allows a user to see.
We are at the midpoint of our dual meet season with a VERY busy month of July ahead of us. As you are relaxing and enjoying the final days of our break, please check your calendars and make your final 3 dual meet declarations for your swimmers and divers. You MUST select either attending or not attending by the designated due date that is listed for each meet.
This year’s team has been putting forth the effort in the pool and off the board and it has been showing. With how the ABE League scores its meets, the spirit and will of each age group to push each other has helped build team camaraderie and further our success. I’ve enjoyed the many that have stepped up and busted their best times or high scores. It’s been exciting and we need to keep this momentum trending.
Our Otters will be on the road again with 2 away meets this coming week, on Tuesday at Stonecrest and then Thursday at Brookside. Both meets will be competitive and we need to focus on them first and need as many swimmers and divers available to compete for each meet.
Our final home meet of the year will be our rivalry meet with Kaybrook on July 16th. It sure looks like it will be an exciting end of our dual meet season. We will need all hands on deck to compete, run the meet, and cheer our Otters on. There is still a lot left in this season, make it happen OV!
Go Otters!
